The Bronze Bow by Elizabeth George Speare
Daniel is prepared to do whatever it takes to avenge his family and win freedom for his people. He hates the Roman soldiers who tortured his father and continue to oppress his country. When he’s forced to leave his group of rebels in the mountain to take care of his sister, he starts to hear about a new teacher, a new leader for their people. But this Jesus isn’t leading anyone into battle.
As Daniel’s plans fall apart, has to re-think everything he thought he knew about his future and himeself if he wants to find peace.
