The first day she shows up wearing something like an old wedding gown, carrying a ukelele on her back and a big canvas bag with a sunflower on it. Then a kimono - another time Indian buckskin or a 1920s flapper dress or a miniskirt. She carries a pet rat in her bag. Is she for real? From outer space? Or is it all a secret plot?
As Kevin gets to know "Stargirl" he has to figure out what it means to be different and how to handle someone who just doesn't fit in.
