Calliope's mother travels around the country working in Renaissance fairs, dressed as a "wench." Cal would prefer to stay put in one place and have a normal life. When Eliot's father decided to follow Jesus, he decided the best way was to start a "fat camp" and write books like "What Would Jesus Eat?"
