No Shame, No Fear by Ann Turnbull
It's against the law to follow her faith, even though they all believe in the same God. Susanna's father is in prison so she's found work in town, work with another Quaker woman who runs her own shop. She meets William, a wealthy merchant's son who is attracted to her and interested in the way her church sees all people as equal and God in each person.
How far will he go when the laws become stricter? What future do they have together?
